"Hi, I'm Jeb Holbrook, and I'm running for Fort Mitchell City Council. Fort Mitchell is a great place to live. I want to make sure it stays that way. I'm running because I believe City Hall should listen to residents, spend taxpayer money responsibly, and focus on the things that matter to our neighborhoods. I'm asking for your vote this November. I'm Jeb Holbrook, and I'm putting Fort Mitchell first."
Why I'm Running One of the reasons I decided to run for Fort Mitchell City Council is because I saw something happening right here in our community that concerned me. A local car dealership began parking more vehicles and semi-truck trailers than the area could reasonably accommodate. At times, trailers were being parked along Dixie Highway and blocking residents' driveways and creating safety concerns on our streets. To me, this isn't about picking a fight with a business. It's about something much simpler: Our streets need to be safe, accessible and properly managed. Businesses are an important part of Fort Mitchell, and I want our local businesses to succeed. But that has to happen while respecting the residents who live here and the neighborhoods they call home. I believe City Council has a responsibility to listen when residents raise concerns, enforce the rules fairly and make sure our streets remain safe. That's one of the reasons I'm running. I want to be the person on City Council who speaks up when something isn't right—and then works to fix it.
